Yes Duties and Responsibilities Applications are invited for theoretical research on NIH-funded projects on viral hepatitis dynamics in vitro, in vivo and on the population level. This Research Assistant Professor position position will be based in the lab of Harel Dahari at Loyola University Chicago Medical Center. Skills: We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced scientist with mathematical and computational skills and a strong interest in viral dynamics. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in the core areas of the group's research; a track record of publications; and commitment to work to the highest standards. The candidate should have good programming skills, good working knowledge of one or more mathematical/computational modeling and statistical packages (e.g., Netlogo, Anylogic, Matlab, Python, Monolix, R) and excellent English (both written and oral). Education: A PhD (>4 years of postdoc training) in applied mathematics, statistics, computer or computational science, or mathematical biology is appropriate.
