Literature Review: Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing literature related to the research topic to establish a strong foundation for the study. 2. Data Collection: Actively participate in collecting data through various methods such as surveys, interviews, observations, or medical record reviews. 3. Data Entry and Management: Enter and organize collected data into databases or software platforms, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 4. Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing research data using appropriate statistical methods or qualitative analysis techniques, depending on the nature of the study. 5.Contribution to Research Design: Collaborate with the research team in designing and planning the research project, including the development of research protocols and methodologies. 6. Collaboration with Team Members: Work closely with faculty members, principal investigators, and fellow research team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the research process. 7.Publication Support: Contribute to the preparation of research findings for publication in academic journals, posters, or presentations at conferences. 8. Attend Conferences: Participate in local, state, and national conferences to present research findings, network with professionals, and stay updated on current trends and advancements in nursing and related fields. 9. Ethics Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in all aspects of the research, including obtaining necessary approvals from Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) or ethics committees. 10. Public Health Informatics (if applicable): If involved in Public Health Informatics, assist in leveraging information technology for data analysis, management, and interpretation in the context of public health research. 11. Community Engagement: Engage with the community if the research involves community-based projects, ensuring transparency, cooperation, and respect for the participants. 12. Research Presentations: Develop and deliver presentations within the academic community, sharing insights into the research process and findings. 13.Continuous Learning: Stay informed about current research methodologies, ethical considerations, and technological advancements relevant to nursing and healthcare research. 14.Time Management: Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines and contribute to the successful completion of the research within established timelines. 15.Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of research procedures, data, and results for future reference and reporting purposes. Qualifications Currently enrolled in the Alcorn State University School of Nursing Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing, Associate Degree of Nursing, or related field.
