Research Assistant

Description:We seek highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Research Assistants - Data Collection Specialists for a community-based research project in the Baptist Bottoms community of Dothan, AL. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data from members of the Baptist Bottoms community to support our research objectives. This will be a temporary position. Responsibilities:Conduct face-to-face surveys with members of the Baptist Bottoms community to gather demographic information, health-related data, and community needs assessments.Utilize survey instruments and protocols the research team provides to ensure consistent and accurate data collection.Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with survey participants.Document survey responses accurately and organize collected data for analysis.Collaborate with the research team to troubleshoot any issues related to data collection and survey administration.Adhere to project timelines and deadlines for data collection activities.Provide regular updates to the research team on progress, challenges, and notable findings during data collection efforts.
