Reliability Engineer provides leadership and mentoring to a multi-discipline/multi-product engineering team and will be responsible for leading the development of moderate to high complex system level requirements, designs and verification plans.
Job Summary:
Recommend new approaches and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in systems development processes.
Lead direct technical interface with multiple customers.
Create complete safety documents (Functional Hazard Analysis, System Safety Assessment, and System Safety Hazard Analysis).
Liaise with program leaders and customers to understand their requirements, propose engineering alternatives, and resolve any product related issues.
Establish, conduct and maintain internal design reviews and guidelines for product development and engineering designs. Identify engineering risks and oversee/monitor the associated mitigations.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer or Systems Engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of 7 years of applicable experience
In depth experience with DOORS
Experience performing reliability engineering functions, such as creating Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), conducting Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) analyses
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
