The client is seeking two 1st shift and two 2nd shift Reliability Controls Engineer Senior Leads with good controls experience, to assess the risks and reliability associated with assets in the Springfield Assembly Plant.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience

    Desired Skills:

  • Experience with production maintenance planning strongly desired

  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) INFOR highly desired but not required

  • Experience working in a union environment

  • Capable of programming automated systems

  • Capable of programming robotics and related programmable automation

  • Understanding of preventative maintenance systems

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and AutoCAD

  • Demonstrated analytical, planning and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to function in a team environment

    Reliability Controls Engineer Senior Lead Responsibilities:

  • Oversees conducting failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) of production equipment

  • Oversees performing predictive analysis of production equipment

  • Conducts root cause analysis to diagnose equipment failures to ensure they don't occur again

  • Develops proactive maintenance procedures to ensure production line efficiency and sustain asset uptime

  • Review installation of newly installed equipment and assess the reliability of newly installed assets

  • Create and monitor life cycle asset management plans

  • Assists in the design and development planning for custom assets

  • Provide technical support to the maintenance team to assist in correcting equipment issues

  • Monitor overall equipment effectiveness to support manufacturing productivity
