Role: Change Manager
Client: Large banking client
Location: Atlanta, Kennesaw, Richmond - on site 3x a week
Duration: 18 months
Day-today:
-We're looking for someone with change management background within finance or highly regulated environment
-Someone to get up to speed with our change management policies and procedures
-Training people if we have specific projects around focus areas like audit issues, etc. - understanding the standard policies and training/facilitating office hours once a week, one a month, etc.
-Someone who can understand the data around our projects and pull reports for our systems of record, analyze that data and perform pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. so if we need to we can prepare decks for practitioners and executives
-Not scared to facilitate meetings and handle trainings, understand the projects from a high level
-Need to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
-They will get guidance but being able to work independently and not be hand-held, need to take that direction
-We support all time zones including offshore - we're training someone for offshore - but this person will work EST schedule
-Data protection - audit issues that come in around data, we build governance around bank's governance and standards
-GCIBT issues that come in and are impactful that have to do with change - that is under our umbrella for example
-Anything around change from audit perspective
-Reporting will be as it comes, but because we're horizontal we have to report up to our senior leadership and reporting is always a piece of that
-Tools - Jira, Confluence, Remedy or ServiceNow would help from the change side - strong Excel , experience with any test management systems is a plus (we're migrating to Oktane , Qtest, ALM), Sharepoint not critical but would help
-Our environment is Agile so need someone who understands Agile practices, but honestly we're not documenting our work in Jira - a big part of our testing work has been how these teams get their information into Jira
-Attention to detail and working in a fast-paced environment is very important
-Healthcare could work too - more important to have that highly regulated environment
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Strong Change Management experience including stakeholder analysis, Training Strategy and Communication planning
Strong ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and generate solutions
Plan and execute communication strategies to ensure clear and consistent messaging throughout the change process.
Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand the impact of changes and ensure effective engagement.
Develop and implement training strategies to support the adoption of new technologies and processes.
Conduct business analysis and engagement to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
Deliver compelling presentations to leadership and executives, effectively communicating the value proposition of proposed changes.
Responsible for implementing Change Management standards and Procedures.
Experience creating executive presentations.
Deep understanding of Software Development Lifecycle inclusive of Plan Build, Test, Deploy
Demonstrated experience conducting audit and governance activities to reconcile testing evidence with Enterprise Change Management requirements
Executes within Enterprise Change Management processes and guidelines
Create metrics and report on change management activities
Advance Experienced in excel creating pivoted tables, VLOOKUPs etc. with large data sets
Managing and maintaining testing-related documentation, including test plans and project plans
Experience coordinating tracking problems and communicating solutions
Able to provide guidance to mid-level and junior-level resources, assist Leads and Managers, executive level presence and able to contribute to innovative ideas, etc.
5-7 years Change Management or Project Management Experience
5-7 years Banking domain experience supporting
3-4 years Governance experience
University Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in working on project using matured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and models: i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, etc.
At least 5-8 years of experience in change management
At least 2 years project management/ lead experience
A team player, self-starter, and quick learner
QA Process/Methodology and Business acumen in technical development organization
Experience in using JIRA, Confluence, Remedy, and Test Management System
JQL within Jira and other applications
Working experience in a Global organization
Working experience with onshore/offshore model
