Rehab Tech/Aide

Olive View-UCLA Medical Center is in need of a Rehab Technician/Aide with experience in behavioral health setting (psych unit) under Recreation Therapy . This is a full-time long-term assignment. Hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm.

Pay Rate: $20-$22/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtaining patients' personal information and updating medical histories.
Assisting patients to reach examination and treatment rooms.
Conducting initial assessments and basic diagnostic tests.
Performing treatments under the direct supervision of licensed physical therapists, such as massage therapy and electric muscle stimulation.
Supporting physical therapists with complicated treatments, as well as assisting patients with physical activities.
Maintaining and updating patient records.
Managing patient mobility within the facility, as well as transportation to off-site appointments.
Sterilizing therapeutic equipment and ensuring that facilities are kept clean and tidy.
Safely disposing of hazardous waste and soiled materials.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have 1+ years of experience working as a Rehab Tech/Aide, clinical experience does NOT count.
Experience in behavioral health setting (psych unit) under Recreation Therapy
BLS Certificate
