Job Description:

As a Regulatory Specialist with Company Name , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet all regulatory requirements and standards across different regions. You will be responsible for monitoring changes in regulations, assessing their impact on our products, and implementing strategies to maintain compliance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and regulatory authorities to address regulatory issues and support product registration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance Management:

Stay abreast of developments in regulations and standards relevant to the chemical industry, including REACH, TSCA, CLP, GHS, and others.

Interpret and analyze regulatory requirements to assess their impact on our products and operations.

Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including product labeling, documentation, and reporting requirements.

Product Registration and Documentation:

Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers, notifications, and registrations required for the marketing and sale of chemical products in various jurisdictions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date product registration files and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate the registration process and address regulatory inquiries or challenges.

Risk Assessment and Management:

Conduct risk assessments of chemical substances and products to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommendations to minimize regulatory risks and ensure product safety for customers and end-users.

Regulatory Support and Training:

Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance matters, including product registration, labeling requirements, and regulatory submissions.

Conduct training sessions and workshops to increase awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices within the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales, to address regulatory challenges and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Participate in product development and innovation projects to assess regulatory implications and integrate compliance considerations into product design and formulation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., REACH Registered Lead Assessor) is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs or compliance management within the chemical industry.

In-depth knowledge of global chemical regulations and standards, including REACH, TSCA, CLP, GHS, and other relevant frameworks.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to business operations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in regulatory documentation and submissions.

Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
