Regulatory & Environmental Advisor

Petroplan is actively recruiting for Regulatory & Environmental Advisor on behalf of an international exploration and production company. Based in Houston, TX, on a hybrid schedule, this individual will be responsible for supporting offshore permitting and compliance for an impressive Gulf of Mexico asset portfolio.

Summary

This position will work closely with many business units including Drilling and Completions, Productio and Operations, to ensure compliance in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing of the required documents
Prepare, submit, and obtain pipeline permits for both installation and decommissioning of offshore pipelines
Prepare correspondence, documents and regulatory permits and forms for various jurisdictional agencies
Coordinate with other business units throughout the lifecycle of a development project
Experience with drilling reports
Extensive interfacing with federal, state, and local agencies to maintain regulatory compliance
Subject Matter Expert on development plan submittals

Requirements
15 years' experience working in regulatory plans and permitting
Extensive Gulf of Mexico experience, including recent exposure
Knowledge of BSEE and BOEM permitting requirements
