Registered Vascular Technologist

Plans, coordinates, supervises, and carries out the activities of the ultrasound area. Work is carried out in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision. Education Technical or Vocational school plus up to 2 years specialty training Experience Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures. Licenses & Certifications Healthcare Provider (CPR) Qualifications A.R.D.M.S. or registry eligible. Must possess one ARDMS credential.(Registry eligible candidates must become ARDMS within one year of graduation date). Must be a graduate of a Vascular or Cardiovasvula Ultrasound program. Must be a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or registry eligible throught the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with a minimum of one (1) year experience in vascular testing. Up to 3 days per week.
