Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

Assess and treat patients of all ages with respiratory disorders.

Perform a wide range of respiratory therapy procedures, including administering oxygen therapy, nebulized medications, and mechanical ventilation.

Operate and maintain acute care ventilators for short-term and long-term use.

Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Monitor patient responses to treatment and document progress in medical records.

Educate patients and families about their respiratory condition and self-management techniques.

Demonstrate leadership and responsibility in the absence of the Team Leader.

Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the hospital's computer system.

Required Qualifications:

One year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Completion of an accredited Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA-approved program.

Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Active RRT license.

Florida License (FL Lic) preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
