SUMMARY: The Registered Radiology Tech is responsible and accountable for providing quality imaging of patients to aid in the diagnosis and continuum of care of patients and assist physicians with exams. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program Experience: 1 year related experience as a Radiologic Technologist Certification/Licensure: ARRT, Arkansas Department of Health Radiology License, and current CPR Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics. Spend eight hours or more performing Radiology exams in the Outpatient Surgery Center. have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Work Environment: Outpatient Surgery Center Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in an Outpatient Surgery Center setting. Clinical staff: 5 days a week, Monday Friday.
