Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) FULL-TIME, PART-TIME, or PRN Seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist in Johnson City, TN at our SOFHA Sleep Center. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients and our team members. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information. Complete and verify documentation. Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to the patient and answer any questions or concerns. Prepare/Calibrate equipment required for testing. Apply electrodes and sensors according to published standards. Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) mask fittings. Home Study Testing (HST) set up and management. Durable Medical Equipment (DME) processing and compliance. Follow procedural protocols (MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP, oxygen titration, etc.) Polysomnographic data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality ensuring signals are artifact-free. Document routine observations: sleep stages and clinical/significant events. REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography or completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state license and/or a nationally accredited educational facility. EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.
