We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consulting Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who is passionate about healthcare and finance, and is driven to improve patient care through the effective management of financial resources. As a Consulting Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, developing and implementing patient care programs, and consulting on financial matters related to patient care. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained at all times.
- Develop and implement patient care programs, taking into account the financial resources available.
- Consult with finance teams on matters related to patient care, providing expert advice on how to best allocate resources to meet patient needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Use your financial expertise to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing and finance, and apply this knowledge to your role.
- Train and educate nursing staff on financial aspects of patient care.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning for the nursing department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree preferred.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in the finance industry or a strong understanding of financial principles is required.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
- Proven ability to develop and implement patient care programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
