Aventura at Humility House -
The RN is responsible for day to day operations of the 70-bed skilled nursing unit under the supervision of the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education and/or Experience
o Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements
o Must be able to supervise and instruct others
o Previous experience in hospital, long-term care facility, or healthcare related facility
o Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
B B. Skills and Abilities
o Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Organizational skills required
o Must be able to supervise and instruct others
o Must have a positive attitude towards the elderly
o Ability to speak and understand English
