Minimum Experience:
1.5 years of nursing experience - system requirement

Patient Types:
Medical Oncology/Chemotherapy Infusion

Required Certifications:
RN: BLS and chemo certification for infusion clinic
OCN preferred, but not required

Required Education:
RN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Skills required:
RN: Chemotherapy infusion, Chart checks, Rooming patients: VS, weight, Review of systems check, medication reconciliation

Support on the Unit:
CA
Charge nurse: Yes
Resource Nurse: Yes
Physician and ARNP in clinic

Charting System/Equipment:
Epic
Med Dispensing: Omnicell
