Registered Nurse Observation Unit

The patient turnover is faster than the inpatient units." - Manager, Observation Unit The Observation Unit team works closely together on the 14-bed unit. Unit flow is fast-paced with average patient stay less than 24 hours. Adult patient population has a large variety including medical, cardiac, surgical, post-procedure and outpatient services. Previous experience lending well to this environment include Med-Surg, Emergency Room and Urgent Care. Unit manager is engaged on the unit, working Charge Nurse shifts and pursuing improvement projects identified by nurses. 72-80 hours every two weeks, rotating day/night shifts, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m., 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m., every 4th weekend, rotating holidays Charge fill-in Qualifications Graduate from a nursing program and current MN RN license required BSN required within three years Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required 2 years inpatient RN experience with previous Charge experience preferred Please apply below so we can start the conversation.
