We're looking for someone to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) who is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, performing Incidental Medical Services, and supervising team members as assigned.

This position works an Alternative Workweek Schedule of 12 hour shifts, 3 days per week alternating with 4 days per week.

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: In-Person, Malibu, California

The Registered Nurse position is paid at $45 per hour. We also offer a robust benefits package, including student loan repayment assistance and a tuition reimbursement program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for clinical and administrative tasks that are focused on providing high quality client care
  • Oversee nursing staff for the duration of the assigned work period
  • Perform Incidental Medical Services
  • Conduct an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on the patients immediate condition or needs within timeframe specified by facility policies, procedures or protocols
  • Conduct ongoing assessments as determined by patients condition and/or the facility policies, procedures or protocols and re-prioritizes care accordingly
  • Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician in an accurate and timely manner
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care for the patient and his/her family
  • Document patient assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing intervention and progress towards problem resolution
  • Report patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift
  • Collect and label specimens as ordered by physician (e.g., blood, stool, sputum, vomit, urine) from patients for testing following facility policies, procedures and protocols

Qualification Guidelines

Education / Experience / License
  • Current, valid California license in good standing as a Registered Nurse
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Associate of Science in Registered Nursing or above from an accredited program
  • Current, valid California Driver License with driving record acceptable to the Company

Other Requirements:
  • Travel between company locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties is required as company needs dictate.
  • This position requires occasional driving as duties dictate, which may include transporting clients.
  • Must satisfy post-offer, pre-employment conditions such as tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, reference check. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with law and company policy.
