Registered Nurse Inpatient Hold

Job Description: Seeking Registered Nurse. Baptist Health Floyd, 2E Inpatient Hold Unit Part-time (12 Hours Weekly), Days (7am-7pm) Job Duties: In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. About the Unit: The Direct Admit unit is a 5-bed Intermediate level unit designed to take direct admits and transfers from outlying hospitals and physician's offices. These patients are expected to get a bed within 48 hours. Nurses in this unit need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an intermediate level RN, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Current Indiana or compact state RN license. BLS for Healthcare provider required upon hire. ACLS for Healthcare provider required upon hire. NIHSS certification required upon hire.
