Our RN staff is responsible for direct patient care and supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff, and using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of patients.

SCHEDULE
  • 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p or 7p-7a, rotating weekends
  • Shift differentials up to $6.25 per hour worked for evenings, nights, and weekends
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works collaboratively within team nursing model alongside Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Leads and mentors nursing staff within assigned team, providing guidance and support to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, enhance patient experience, and promote a culture of patient-centered care
  • Monitors patient vital signs, assesses their condition, and promptly escalates any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
  • Participates in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth transition of care
  • Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in patient health record
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning process by providing input and collaborating with other team members
  • Administers medication and documents patient care according to physician orders, hospital policy and nursing standards, including timeliness of record completion
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients, families, team members, and visitors
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid registered nurse license to practice in the state of Oklahoma
  • CPR certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Thorough understanding of hospital policy and procedures, including fire and safety plans, risk management, and infection control
  • Previous experience in team nursing or a similar collaborative care model preferred but not required
PHYSICAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • May be required to lift or push up to 65lbs
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and process information accurately.
