Medcor is looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) to work on a temporary basis at our clients state of the art mobile clinic in Stamford, CT. We are looking for nurses to cover from 7/22/24 8/13/24. This is a 24/7 operation. The shift needed to be covered is from 7:00am 7:00pm (3 shifts per week). Must be available to cover a few weekend days as well THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB. IT IS A SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT. Job duties include participation in all aspects of Medcors daily operations at our clients place of business by performing duties related to Workplace incident triage, emergency response, and treatment for employees, contractors and guests. Experience in the treatment of minor illness and injuries as well as major trauma and medical emergency management is required. Successful candidates will possess solid clinical skills, have at least two years' experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or applicable experience. A typical day in the life of a Medcor Nurse: Work as part of a team that provides excellent customer service to Medcors client and employees Treat injuries and illnesses according to Medcors evidence based medicine protocols Respond to medical emergencies Administer screening and testing Work closely with the Environmental, Health, and Safety department Provide wellness education Document utilizing an electronic medical record Assisting with daily clinic operations including clerical, IT, medical supply management, and medical equipment maintenance You Must Have valid unrestricted Connecticut RN license and current CPR/BLS certification Have a positive and outgoing personality Be good at prioritizing and multitasking Be willing to go above and beyond to give excellent customer service Love people and giving them the best care humanly possible You Should Have a minimum of 2 years field experience Be able to follow processes and procedures with excellence Be good with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with EMR software Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Culture We dont just advocate for our clients and our patients; we also advocate for ourselves.
