UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our NICU cares for premature and critically ill newborn infants, born here at the UWMC or transported in from outlying hospitals. Bring your experience and great compassion in caring for multiple births and micro preemies babies born before 26 weeks gestation or weighing less than 2.2 pounds. As part of UW Medicine, the NICU has access to the most advanced neonatal research. Our team has been instrumental in setting the standard for reducing risk of brain damage and lung problems in premature babies across the nation. Come work with an interdisciplinary team of neonatologists, nurses, neonatal physical therapists, respiratory care practitioners, pharmacists, nutritionists, other health professionals and parents as members of a baby's health-care team.

SCHEDULE
Position is 90%, 36 hours/week, 12 hour night shifts.

REQUIREMENTS
Position requires at least 1 year experience in Level 3 NICU, preferably in an academic medical center, including resuscitation at delivery and working with residents and nurse practitioners.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Washington State RN license required by start date.
