Registered Nurse Job Details Job Location Outpatient Salem - Mannington, NJ Position Type Part Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage None Job Category Nurse Compliance with state licensing regulations and requirements as established by the NJ State Board of Nursing. Adhere to Office of Licensing requirements and DCPP regulations. Maintain knowledge and compliance with Agency policies. Maintain verbal and/or electronic contact with the supervisory psychiatrist. Execution of physician and APN orders. Medication administration in accordance with State, DCPP and agency requirements. Observe and document resident response to psychotropic and non-psychotropic medications. Timely and accurate completion of documentation in the electronic medication administration record. Provide on-going nursing assessments and treatments in designated programs in accordance with New Jersey State Board of Nursing standards and Agency policies. Participate in admission process, inclusive of nursing assessments and required paperwork. Assist with the coordination of mental health and psychiatric services to consumers within multidisciplinary team. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings as required. Provide health education and disease prevention strategies to residents within nursing groups or individually. Conduct two one hour health groups per week. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumer population served. Assess and interpret data about the consumer's status in order to identify each consumer's needs and provide appropriate care. Educate staff on medication and review medication logs. Evaluate consumers post restraint, and corresponding documentation of findings. Monitoring/inventory of medical supplies and health maintenance equipment. Legacy Treatment Services offers outpatient mental health services for those who could benefit from improvements in mental and behavioral health. Our outpatient program offers a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental illness. Hours: Part Time, 20 hours per week. Some flexibility with days.
