Registered Nurse

A Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional who provides nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting. This type of nurse typically works in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, or other health facility that provides care to patients who are unable to live independently.Responsibilities of an SNF-RN may include:Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician.Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical history.Assessing the patient's overall health and wellbeing, and recognizing and reporting changes in their condition.Creating and implementing individualized care plans for each patient.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.Providing education and support to patients and their families.Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.Requirements for the role may include:Active RN license in the state of practice.1-2 years of experience as a nurse in a long-term care setting.Ability to work with patients of all ages and with varying levels of illness and disability.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.This is a not full time but contracted travel position.
