Registered Nurse Oncologist to join a team of professionals in Chemotherapy Ambulatory Services in
Milwaukee, WI. This is a
temporary position for 4 months where you will be able to provide direct nursing care to oncology patients per established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Your role will involve implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with various disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, administering chemotherapy, and participating in patient discharge planning.

Candidate requirements
Job specification - Implement and monitor patient care plans based on established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, including any changes or concerns, to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines involved in patient care to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly.
- Assess and coordinate the patient's discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer chemotherapy treatments as required.
- Travel to various sites within a 40-mile radius as needed.
Candidate requirements - Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing OR required professional licensure at the time of hire.
- A valid Wisconsin RN license.
- ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) chemo/immuno provider certification (required) and OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in administering chemotherapy treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations within a 40-mile radius.
