Registered Nurse - Heart Center Clinic - Part Time

JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.


QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

  • One year of experience is preferred
  • Pediatric experience and or cardiology experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills desirable

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • A graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred
  • An active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
  • HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
  • Focused Pediatric Resuscitation (FPR) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS: Part time, time 48 hours per pay period, clinic open Mon-Fri and closed on weekends and holidays.

PAY RANGE: $40.00 - $66.20

DISCLAIMER: Top of pay scale for RN I RN II is $66.20 and top of scale for RN III-RN IV is $70.00
