Job Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Job Description: Job Description Candidates must be able to speak Spanish In collaboration with the supervising physician, the Nurse provides primary health care for acute and chronic diseases and offers preventative medical care through lifestyle changes, risk factor modification and early detection of disease through routine screening. Plans, develops, coordinates and provides health education/counseling in response to client and community needs. Responsible for monitoring and ensuring high quality practice and is accountable for her/his practice outcomes. Incorporates the professional dimension of the nursing role and provides leadership and direction for continued role development. Education/Experience: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Current Registered Nurses MA license. Able to speak and understand Spanish is required. Minimum of two years nursing experience in a hospital or practice setting preferred. Must possess a professional level of knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other Managed Care regulations; strong ethical beliefs and the ability to be discreet and protect the integrity of confidential information including respect for patient rights, property and privacy; interpersonal skills in order to relate to patients and employees with all personality types and cultural differences to negotiate effective working relationships and develop positive resolutions to conflicts.
