We are seeking a dynamic Consulting Registered Nurse with a strong background in patient safety to join our team in the finance industry. This unique role combines nursing expertise with financial acumen, providing an exciting opportunity for an individual to apply their skills in a non-traditional setting. The successful candidate will serve as a healthcare consultant, leveraging their nursing knowledge to advise on matters related to healthcare finance, patient safety, and risk management. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Apply your nursing knowledge and expertise in a consulting capacity, advising on healthcare finance matters.
2. Conduct comprehensive reviews of client healthcare practices and protocols to identify areas of financial risk or potential improvement.
3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient safety, mitigate risk, and improve overall financial performance.
4. Provide training and education to clients on best practices for patient safety and risk management.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of finance professionals, healthcare experts, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
6. Stay abreast of the latest developments in healthcare finance, patient safety, and nursing best practices to ensure our consulting services remain cutting-edge.
7. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, clearly communicating complex healthcare and financial concepts in a manner that is easy to understand.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, valid license.
2. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of patient safety best practices and risk management.
4. Experience in healthcare finance or a related field is a strong plus.
5. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex healthcare and financial concepts to a diverse audience.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and interpret healthcare data and financial reports.
7. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
8. High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
10. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
