Job Description: As the Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Nursing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff during the Weekend shift. You will ensure that our residents receive high-quality care, and you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Supervise and manage nursing staff during the weekend shift.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as necessary.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to nursing staff in critical situations.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of nursing staff.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and make adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and address any issues or concerns.
  • Act as a resource and support for nursing staff, providing guidance and assistance.
Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of VA.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and excellent patient care skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Salary/ Wage Range for Registered Nurse (RN):

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
