Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient facility located in New Castle County, Delaware. The center is AAAHC-accredited and Medicare-Certified. The center offers patients a more convenient, comfortable and safe alternative for their GI needs. At Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center we provide our patients with endoscopic procedures that visualize and treat conditions of the esophagus, stomach or small and large intestines without the need or inconvenience of a hospital stay. The procedures performed at the center, include colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemorrhoid banding, pH Probe studies, sacral nerve stimulation, and upper endoscopy. The 5,600 square foot endoscopy center offers a fully-equipped operating room, a recovery room, a spacious waiting room, and a full array of amenities to make patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit. Registered Nurse Insert relevant center information here We are currently searching for (FT, PT, or PRN) Registered Nurse to work Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Insert specific job requirements, if applicable Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
