Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Be at the forefront of providing direct and indirect nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess individual patient needs and implementing personalized plans of care.
  • Patient and Family Engagement: Initiate and provide ongoing patient and family education, ensuring their active involvement in care planning. Your communication skills will play a crucial role in building strong relationships.
  • Collaborative Approach: Maintain open communication with physicians, ancillary services, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care for each patient.
  • Professional Standards: Uphold and exceed standards of professional nursing practice, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills. Delegation of tasks will be handled judiciously.
  • Continuous Improvement: Embrace a commitment to quality patient care and strive to maximize clinical performance measures for each patient. Your belief in excellence will drive our success.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an A.D.N. or nursing diploma.
  • Licensing: Ability to obtain licensure in the State of Alaska.
  • Skills: Showcase your leadership ability, organizational skills, and proficiency in computer software.
  • Communication: Demonstrate effective communication skills and an understanding of government standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent periods of standing, bending, stooping, walking, and sitting.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

  • A valid driver's license is required.
