The RN Supervisor must be a positive role model who works effectively, efficiently, and with respect for residents, staff, families, volunteers, and professional consultants.
Job Duties for the RN Supervisor:
- Provides oversight for the provision of care.
- Serves as a resource to the direct care staff.
- Coordinates on-site response to incidents, errors and sentinel events.
- Provides support to the DON and Nurse Manager with staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned.
- Provides direct patient care under the Registered Nurse job description when necessary and/or assigned.
- Monday through Friday position, on call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse, Delaware is a compact state.
- 3+ years in the Long Term Care supervisory role preferred but willing to mentor.
- Point Click Care (PCC) knowledge preferred.
