Responsibilities That Make an Impact:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments for all admitted clients with care and compassion.
- Monitor clients undergoing detox, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse effects.
- Facilitate consultations and assist in discharge planning for seamless transitions.
- Stay knowledgeable in pharmacology and provide crucial client education.
- Lead group sessions and provide valuable in-service training.
Qualifications We're Looking For:
- Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Preferably one year of experience in psychiatric and substance use treatment.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
