SUMMARY: The Clinic Population Health Nurse serves the BRMC Primary Care Clinics; assisting the Population Health team to successfully implement, maintain and report all activities related to Population Health. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred. Experience: Two (2) years of clinic experience utilizing electronic medical records software preferred. Certifications: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN or license in good standing. Other: Demonstrated record of effective working relationships with clinic staff and providers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist up to or exceeding 8-10 hours during shift(s). Occasionally requires lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment with proper body mechanics. Able to push in excess of 150 pound wheelchair with patient and occasionally lifts patients with assist 125 pounds or more with proper body mechanics. Spends eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment. Must be able to handle highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Work Environment: Office setting within a clinic environment and occasionally patients homes.
