Job Summary- The Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Unit is accountable for the safe, individualized, efficient, and effective management and delivery of nursing care for hospitalized inpatients and hospital-based outpatients.
Education and/or Experience- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Minnimum of 1-2 years Med/Surg experience requried.
Licensure/Certification/Registration- Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire.
Work Schedule- Varied Shifts; PRN, as needed, casual requirements per department policy
