Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our partner, a prestigious Level I trauma center located in Fort Mohave, AZ. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Assess patient conditions, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active Arizona or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute medical-surgical unit.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
