Job Description:
Trusted Staffe partners with a reputable Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA, to welcome a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to our Psychiatry Unit team. This critical role is a full-time position, offering three 12-hour shifts per week with the flexibility of choosing day or night shifts. Job Classification: Permanent - Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive mental health assessments of patients.

  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and the broader healthcare team.

  • Administer medication, monitoring patients for adverse reactions and effectiveness.

  • Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation skills as necessary.

  • Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and care plans.

  • Document all patient care activities with accuracy and detail.

  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for both patients and staff.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality psychiatric care.

Qualifications:

  • An active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Washington.

  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, hospital setting preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of mental health conditions and evidence-based treatments.

  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation abilities.

  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to nursing care.

  • The ability to work seamlessly within a team and manage multiple priorities.

  • A staunch commitment to cultural competency and providing respectful and diversified care.

Salary Range: $82,199 - $154,308
