Job Description:
Trusted Staffe partners with a reputable Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA, to welcome a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to our Psychiatry Unit team. This critical role is a full-time position, offering three 12-hour shifts per week with the flexibility of choosing day or night shifts. Job Classification: Permanent - Full Time
Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive mental health assessments of patients.

Create and execute personalized treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and the broader healthcare team.

Administer medication, monitoring patients for adverse reactions and effectiveness.

Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation skills as necessary.

Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and care plans.

Document all patient care activities with accuracy and detail.

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for both patients and staff.

Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality psychiatric care.
Qualifications:

An active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Washington.

A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, hospital setting preferred.

In-depth knowledge of mental health conditions and evidence-based treatments.

Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation abilities.
