Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing the highest quality patient care in a fast-paced, challenging environment. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage the health and well-being of patients with chronic conditions, comorbidities, and those requiring acute care.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality patient care within the scope of the registered nurse practice, in accordance with established protocols.
2. Administer medications, monitor patient responses to treatment plans, and report changes in patients' conditions.
3. Manage chronic conditions and comorbidities, working closely with the healthcare team to adjust care plans as necessary.
4. Provide acute care for patients in critical conditions, utilizing advanced nursing skills and knowledge to manage complex health issues.
5. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, therapeutic interventions, and other aspects of patient care.
7. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, documenting patient's healthcare plans and prognosis.
8. Work in a correctional healthcare setting, providing nursing care to inmates as per the established protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. A valid Registered Nurse license.
2. A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care, chronic conditions management, and corrections medicine.
3. Advanced knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, and medical protocols.
4. Exceptional clinical judgment and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information to patients and their families.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
8. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning, with a desire to stay abreast of the latest advancements in nursing care and medical research.
