We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic candidate to join our exceptional leadership team and lead our nurses as the Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator. Requirements of Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required or active Multi Compact State Licensure
- Must have at minimum an Associates Degree, or BS preferred and completed nursing school
- Must have at minimum two (2) years experience in a nursing care facility/LTC
- Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
Responsibilities of Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator:
- Assist in planning, developing, evaluating and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs
- Assist in incorporating commercially produced instruction material and training aides into existing in-service programs as deemed necessary
- Assist and provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assist in securing, developing, and maintaining records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc., pertinent to in-service educational programs
- Assist in performing administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, class attendance and subject records
- Assist in making any written and oral reports and recommendations to the Administrator concerning in-service training programs
- Assist in standardizing the methods of which work will be accomplished
- Remain current on new developments by attending professional institutions, reading professional journals, and attending professional seminars
- Encourage personnel to get involved in planning programs, trying new ideas, etc., to enhance our educational in-service program
