Job Description We are seeking
Registered Nurses - Med Surg to join our teams across the US. Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Med Surg (Medical-Surgical) unit provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various medical and surgical conditions. They work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients' families to deliver high-quality care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities - Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide wound care and perform various nursing procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care, progress, and any changes in condition accurately and promptly.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their hospital stay.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain clinical competency.
Clearance - US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required
- Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Adherence to ethical standards, regulations, and hospital policies.
