Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary nursing care to patients with mental health disorders and those undergoing addiction treatment under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health status, including collecting health history and documenting findings accurately.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor their effectiveness, and document any side effects.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
  • Provide therapeutic care and support, including crisis intervention, counseling, and education to patients and their families.
  • Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in patient condition.
  • Comply with all healthcare regulations and standards while maintaining patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mental health and addiction treatment.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse RN license from an accredited nursing program.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical principles in challenging situations.
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently and handle a high level of stress.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
