The role of the Registered Nurse, a world renowned long term care organization located in Riverdale - North Bronx, is eligible for a prorated sign on bonus of $10,000 ($5,000 at end of Six (6) Months and $5,000 on (1) One year Anniversary, less applicable taxes).
This position assigns tasks and responsibilities within the framework of their scope of practice and provides care directions to the Licensed Practical Nurses and the Certified Nurse's Aides.

Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Evening Shift Hours : 3:00 pm 11:00pm, including weekends and weekdays.
Location: Bronx, NY

Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will observe, record and report resident data according to policy and procedure.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Ensure that the appropriate documentation concerning unauthorized discharges is entered in the resident's medical record in accordance with established procedures.
Assist the day-to-day activities performed by the licensed practical nurse and the certified nurse's aides.

Qualifications:
Must possess a current NYS RN license and registration, BLS certified, has graduated from an approved RN program, and has experience in a hospital/long-term care setting.
Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and writing skills essential.
Must be competent with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR).
