Registered Nurse

Description: A large privately owned organization in New Haven county is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team at one of the top surgery centers in New England. The Registered Nurse will: Correlate clinical data Demonstrate high standard of communication Assess, plan, evaluate and ensure the implementation of the patient's care to achieve identified outcomes and deliver safe patient care Maintains and assesses their own clinical expertise with clinical practices Documents all patient information according to established standards of care and to ensure availability of accurate and relevant information to accordance with surgery center standards Demonstrates expertise with infection control, engaging standard and universal precautions as trained or instructed Skills: RN License, RN, BSN, OR Nurse, orthopedics, Surgery Center, BLS Top Skills Details: RN License,RN,BSN,OR Nurse Additional Skills & Qualifications: Holds a current state of Connecticut license as a Registered Nurse Holds a current certification in basic life support Minimum of (2) years of OR nursing experience; orthopedics a plus Possess a good command of the English language, both oral and written Ability to meet the needs of the nursing service as demanded by the schedule, especially when overtime hours and time changes are necessary Ability to work well with surgeons, employees, patients and coworkers alike Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast paced work environment Experience Level: Intermediate Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
