The Behavioral Health unit is a 26-bed unit that provides mental health care for patients over the age of 18 in an acute or crisis situation. We utilize evidenced based practices to provide individualized and holistic care from an interdisciplinary team comprised of board-certified psychiatrists, social workers, recreational therapists in collaboration with a caring, compassionate team of nurses and patient care technicians. Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
