Registered Nurse

Responsibilities: Provides nursing services for the UMHB Health Center in the absence of or in support of the full time R.N. Estimated 4-6 weeks total per calendar year is anticipated for this position, mostly in summer and late spring months, typically day shift. Minimum Requirements: An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. A current and valid Texas Registered Nursing license is required. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or the ability to acquire upon employment). Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. Must be at least 21 years of age.
