Trusted Staffe is currently searching for a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room on behalf of our esteemed partner, a Level III Trauma Center located in Andalusia, AL. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and efficient patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and trauma injuries.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, making appropriate adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Alabama or compact state licensure, in good standing.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting positive outcomes.
- Willingness to work night shifts as required.
