As a Registered Nurse (RN) for Anna Jaques Hospital on the child psychiatric unit in Amesbury, Massachusetts, you'll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. A Registered Nurse is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team on this 16-bed specialty unit and is responsible for patient safety and milieu management. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and help make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, patients and your community.
How You Care for Our Patients
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include admissions, providing care and monitoring of patients on the unit and participation in the treatment team. The RN is a vital member of a dedicated team of professionals who work together to provide children and adolescents with effective and compassionate psychiatric care. This unit is staffed by psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, mental health counselors, and social workers. The unit is supported with the full resources of Anna Jaques Hospital and Sheppard Pratt Solutions.
You Bring Meaningful Experience
Successful Candidates will have the following:
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- CPR certification
- Previous experience is preferred in psychiatric care, restraint education, crisis intervention
