APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple Registered Nurse ICU for our client in Monroe, MI for a 13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

Position Title: RN ICU
Pay Rate:$55-$60/hr
Work Location: Lansing, MI
Shift : Nights 7pm-7am
Hours/day: 12hrs 36 or 48hrs/wk your choice
Contract Duration:13 weeks
License Requirement: MI RN license
Certification Requirement:
- State license
- ACLS
- BCLS by AHA
- NIH

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The RN-ICU will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill or injured patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care to critically ill or injured patients in the ICU.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Operate and monitor medical equipment used in the ICU, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and aftercare.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  8. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance nursing practice.
  10. Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times.
