Position Title: RN ICU
Pay Rate:$55-$60/hr
Work Location: Lansing, MI
Shift : Nights 7pm-7am
Hours/day: 12hrs 36 or 48hrs/wk your choice
Contract Duration:13 weeks
License Requirement: MI RN license

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The RN-ICU will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill or injured patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill or injured patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment used in the ICU, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance nursing practice.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times.
