Responsibilities
Administer medications to residents accurately and on schedule
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) like dressing, bathing, transfers
Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met by assisting with meals/feeding
Observe and report any changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
Maintain clear and precise documentation of medication administration
Promote an atmosphere of dignity, compassion and emotional support
Transport residents safely via wheelchair or assistive devices as needed
Qualifications
Current Registered Medication Aide license/certification
Proven experience in medication administration, preferably in senior care
Ability to follow procedures and care plans with strict attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents
Physical ability to lift, transfer and reposition residents safely
Military experience highlighting discipline, teamwork and care for others
