Job Description and Requirements: JOB SUMMARY: The Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) will have an active NJ REHS license issued by the New Jersey Department of Health and acts as the front-line investigator and inspector for many of the state's public health environmental regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Retail Food Inspections Septic and Well Inspections Public Health Complaint Investigations Environmental Health Compliance Recreational Bathing Inspections REQUIREMENTS LICENSES: Valid NJ driver's license Possession of a valid Registered Environmental Health Specialist License issued by the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services.
